New York, NY (5/23/16) – It was another clean sweep for a trio of DiBella Entertainment prospects as Abel Ramos, Jonathan Alonso and Brandon Williams all picked up impressive victories over the weekend.

Fighting for the second time in just three weeks, Ramos (16-1-2, 11KO’s), headlining in front of his hometown fans in Phoenix, AZ, put on a scintillating performance, scoring a devastating fifth-round TKO over the previously undefeated Dario Ferman (13-1, 10KO’s). The 24-year-old Ramos, who was a sensational amateur, has scored back-to-back knockout victories since suffering the lone defeat of his professional career to red-hot and undefeated prospect Regis Prograis last December on ShoBox. Ramos plans to keep a very busy 2016 to establish himself as a force in the loaded 140lb. division.

With a spot on the undercard of the eagerly anticipated Keith Thurman vs. Shawn Porter welterweight world championship, June 25th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, 2012 Spanish Olympian Jonathan Alonso (9-0, 4KO’s) picked up an impressive points victory over veteran Koba Karkashadze (20-11-2, 10KO’s) in Spain. Nicknamed “Maravilla”, Alonso is excited to make his Barclays debut, and will be looking to impress on what is arguably the biggest and most anticipated boxing event thus far in 2016.

Also fighting in front of a hometown audience, Rochester-native Brandon Williams saw his win column reach double digits, as he improved to a perfect 10-0-1 with a unanimous decision victory over Ryan Picou.

The June 25 SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® on CBS event, presented by Premier Boxing Champions, is headlined by the highly anticipated welterweight showdown between world champion Keith Thurman and former champion Shawn Porter. Televised coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with an exciting battle between featherweight world champion Jesus Cuellar and former three-division world champion Abner Mares.
