QUEENS, NY (October 21st, 2014) – Port Chester’s undefeated Junior Lightweight prospect, Bryant “Pee Wee” Cruz (12-0, 6KO’s), makes his return to the ring on Friday, November 21st, 2014 as the Main Event against an opponent TBA. The eight-round bout will take place at the Resorts World Casino New York City in Jamaica, New York. The show will be promoted by New Legend Boxing as part of their “International Fight Night” series.

After scoring a win against Jose Morales (7-5, 2 KOs) in August, Cruz is excited to be back in the ring at the Resorts World Casino New York City in Jamaica, New York.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to fight for the New York State Junior Lightweight title” said Cruz. “My promoters, New Legend Boxing and DiBella Entertainment along with my manager Kevin Crowley have done a great job helping to guide my career. I feel comfortable with them knowing that they are watching out for my best interests and moving me at a pace that will help me to learn as I advance through the ranks. The number one thing you look for in a promoter is someone you can trust and these guys have gone above and beyond what I could ask for. I train hard every day with my team and let my manager and promoters handle the business end. I know every time I step in the ring that I will be facing an opponent that will be tougher than the last. Every fight is a learning experience and I will continue to improve on my skills”.

“Cruz is looking better and better each and every time he steps in the ring,” said New Legend Boxing promoter Felipe Gomez. “He’s gaining the quality experience he will need to take his career to the next level and we are hoping to get him some TV exposure by early next year.
