Guy Robb Assures He Will Control the Action This Saturday on ‘Solo Boxeo

The featherweight contender will face his toughest test THIS SATURDAY, at 11 p.m. ET/PT on ‘Solo Boxeo’ UniMás.

Fallon, NV (August 25, 2016) – Featherweight contender Guy Robb assures he has the perfect plan and necessary confidence to control the action and come out with a big win on his next fight, this Saturday, August 27, that will take place at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.

Robb (18-1, 8 KO’s), from Sacramento, California, will battle for the vacant North American Boxing Organization (NABO) featherweight title against Colombia’s Miguel Marriaga (23-1, 19 KO’s) in the main event of the ‘Solo Boxeo’ card that will be presented by Top Rank, Let’s Get It On Promotions, and the city of Fallon.

“Marriaga has power and he likes to take control of fights. He also likes to fight at his pace, not mine. I will take control of the fight early with a hard jab and angles,” assured Robb. “My trainer is Ray Woods – Stepfather of Diego Corrales – and he has big pictures of ‘Chico’ at our gym in Fresno. Those photos from ‘Chico’ motivate me. Ray has been in big fights and he has trained me for a big fight this Saturday. Ray gives me all the necessary confidence for a fight like this,” added Robb.

In the fight that will start the television broadcast on UniMas, Mexican lightweight contender, José Félix Jr. (33-1-1, 25 KO’s), from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, will clash against Rob Frankel (34-16-1, 7 KO’s) in a ten-round bout.

Also on the card, unbeaten featherweight prospect, José ‘El Chocolatito’ González (4-0-1, 2 KO’s) from New York, will face Gelacio Cruz in a four-round fight.

Robb vs. Marriaga and Felix Jr. vs. Frankel will be televised this Saturday, August 27 from coast to coast in the United States at 11 p.m. ET/ PT on ‘Solo Boxeo’ UniMás.
