Jo Jo Dan (33-2,18 KOs) scored a split decision victory over Kevin Bizier (23-1, 16 KOs) in a 12-round fight to earn mandatory a shot at IBF Welterweight champion Kell Brook at the Colisee de Quebec in Quebec City, Canada.

The fight was the co-main event of a card presented by GYM Promotions and Showtime Boxing.

Dan, 33, who is originally from Giurgiu, Romania, won via split decision in their first fight in November of 2013.

Each round was very close to score as both fighters were very busy and very hittable.

Bizier, 30, of Saint-Emile, Canada, scored a knockdown in Round 7 with a short right hand and even seemed on the verge of stopping Dan.

Bizier, however, could not capitalize on the knockdown.

One judge scored it 114-113 for Bizier while two others scored the fight 115-112 and 114-113 for Dan.
