On Friday, April 14, 2017, Super Featherweight prospect Ivan Delgado (11-0-1, 4 KOs) took on Charles Huerta (18-5, 11 KOs) in a scheduled eight-round fight at the Belasco Theater in Downtown, Los Angeles.
The fight headlined a three-fight Spanish telecast on Estrella TV, while RingTVLive.com streamed the entire card.
Also on the card were other Golden Boy prospects such as Edgar Valerio, Manny Robles Jr., and Jonathan Navarro.

Ivan Delgado vs. Charles Huerta, 8 rounds, junior lightweights
Huerta scored a third-round TKO victory against Delgado. Delgado had previously been unbeaten.
Jonathan Navarro vs. Joan Valenzuela, 6 rounds, welterweights
Navarro scored a fifth-round TKO victory agaisnt Valenzuela.
Manny Robles Jr. vs. Antonio Martinez, 6 rounds, featherweights
Robles scored a six-round unanimous decision victory against Martinez. Robles won with scores of 60-54, 60-54, and 59-55.
Pablo Rubio Jr. vs. Angel Aguilar, 6 rounds, junior featherweights
Rubio scored a six-round unanimous decision victory against Aguilar. All judges scored the fight 59-55.
“Every time I would try to press forward and land my combinations, he would just run away,” said Rubio.
“He brought in a lot of ring experience, and he caught me off guard with some of his punches. My dad and I came in with a game plan to win, and that’s what helped us secure the victory,” said Rubio.
Edgar Valerio vs. Francisco Dominguez, 6 rounds, featherweights
Valerio scored a second-round KO victory against Dominguez.
“My dad and I plan for everything, it’s just a matter of timing,” Valerio.
“I feel good about the win, but like how all fighters say, I’m just ready for the next win.”
