It’s probably been a while since you’ve heard the name Luis Carlos Abregu (36-3, 29 KOs).

Before Friday night, “El Potro” hadn’t seen action since he was dominated and stopped in Round 9 by Sadam Ali in November of 2014.

Abregu returned to the ring in his native Argentina against an opponent named Juan Carlos Pedrozo, whose record is now 11-8, 9 KOs.

Abregu was dropped three times in the contest, and although he scored one knockdown of his own, he looked tremendously sluggish and hardly resembled the world-class fighter who once went 12 rounds with Timothy Bradley and defeated then undefeated prospect, Thomas Dulorme.

Check out the video of Abregu’s loss below and let us know what you think of El Potro’s performance.

Should he hang up the gloves for good?
