Former WBC International Super Middleweight Champion Maricela “La Diva” Cornejo, signs with Pepe Gomez’ Promotion Company, Cancun Boxing! Cornejo is thrilled to sign with a promoter who has always supported Female Boxing and is excited to start her journey with the Cancun Boxing Family.
Before Cornejo heads to Cancun though, she has a scheduled bout where she will be the Estrella Channel TV Opening fight for Golden Boy Boxing’s LA FIGHT CLUB on October 7th at Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, CA. This is a huge step for Female Boxing and much respect to Oscar De La Hoya, Roberto Diaz and Golden Boy Boxing for putting Females in their televised fights! Maricela is also preparing for her appearance on the third season of Celebrity KNOCKOUT which will be televised on FUSE TV. Which starts filming two days after her TV debut.
