On Saturday, August 2, 2014, HBO Boxing After Dark will broadcast a split-site boxing triple header featuring hard-nosed Oxnard fighter, Brandon Rios in his first bout since losing a decision against Manny Pacquiao in November of 2013.
Rios will be returning in a pivotal 10-round welterweight bout against hard-punching Argentine, Diego Chaves, who boxing fans will remember for giving Keith Thurman a tough fight in July of 2013.
Chaves arrived to Las Vegas later than expected after having visa troubles, which jeopardized the fight.
But alas, Chaves was cleared and arrived Thursday, but it remains to be seen if the jet lag will affect him.
The HBO Boxing After Dark telecast starts at 9:45 pm, EST/PST.
