After dropping two tough, back-to-back decisions to Jamie McDonnell in 2015, Tomoki “El Mexicanito” Kameda (31-2, 19 KOs) took a year off to go back to the drawing board.

Kameda recently reached out to Round By Round Boxing via Instagram to announce his upcoming return, which will take place in his adopted home of Mexico on October 15.

El Mexicanito also posted a public message on his Instagram page, letting his fans know what he’s been up to and what to expect in the future.

Kameda will be taking on journeyman, Cecilio Santos (31-30-6, 19 KOs) from Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.

According to Kameda, the bout will be promoted by Zanfer Promotions and air on TV Azteca.
