In the unfortunate main event of the April 17 edition of Friday Night Fights, Tony Harrison (21-0, 18 KOs) scored a third-round knockout over Pablo Munguia (20-7, 11 KOs) at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

It was unfortunate because Munguia was undersized, overaged, and grossly overweight for the division.

The smaller and older fighter had an awkward come-forward style that allowed him to land a few punches on Harrison, but it was no match for the right hand that floored him in Round 2 and which precipitated the stoppage in the following round.

Harrison, 24, of  Detroit, Michigan, remains undefeated, but did not prove much with his win tonight.

Also on the card was a Featherweight bout between Ryan Kielczewski (22-1, 6 KOs) and Danny Aquino (16-2, 10 KOs).

Kielczewski boxed very well in the opening rounds, but Aquino did a better job of closing the distance in the later rounds to work on the inside.

In what was a very close fight, Aquino walked away with the split decision with scores of 74-78 and 74-87, while one only judge scored the fight 78-74 for Kielczewski.

Tevin Farmer  (19-4-1, 4 KOs) scored an eight-round unanimous decision victory over Angel Luna (10-0-1, 6 KOs) in a Super Featherweight fight.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, native won with scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 80-72 .
