About Billions To Name New Pres. of Promotions; Announces Nov. 14 Event in N. Kentucky

The About Billions Promotions team adds a new Pres. of Promotions, and announces plans for a Nov. 14 show in Covington, KY; planning an exciting 2021 schedule

CINCINNATI, OHIO (October 16, 2020)About Billions Promotions is expected to announce its newest member to the outfit’s business team. Randall Wyatt, of Cincinnati, Ohio, has accepted the role of President of Promotions according to a source with knowledge of the forthcoming move.

Wyatt’s been a fixture in the Cincinnati boxing scene – with both professional and amateur fighters – over the past several years. He has a longtime relationship with the namesake of About Billions, four-division world champion Adrien Broner, and while serving in various roles he aided in the careers of former Bantamweight champion Rau’shee Warren and Super Welterweight prospect Jamontay Clark.

As the head of Wyatt Promotions, Wyatt organized a series of entertaining club shows in Cincinnati in recent years. He sold out a number of different local venues showcasing homegrown fighters like undefeated Welterweight Boubacar Sylla, while also bringing talent to the Midwest like current WBA No. 3-ranked Middleweight Carlos Monroe. Monroe fought on the same card as Chicago, Illinois’ undefeated Welterweight Destyne Butler – a promising prospect on the About Billions roster.

Last September Wyatt launched a new promotional venture that featured a special attraction bout with ShoBox: The New Generation alum Glenn Dezurn Jr. Dezurn was cornered by his wife Franchon Crews-Dezurn – then unified Super Middleweight champion. In December, at Covington, Kentucky’s Hits 55 complex, undefeated Super Lightweight Michael Williams Jr. fought in the main event. He earned a second round TKO under the watchful eye of his coach, the BWAA’s 1990s Fighter of the Decade Roy Jones Jr.

This type of vision, constant aim towards providing a quality product and success signals to the reasons Wyatt was tabbed to join About Billions CEO Ravon Littlejohn for what’s expected to be a prominent 2021.

Kicking off those exciting plans, an event currently being planned for November 14 tentatively back at Hits 55. About Billions hasn’t promoted an event locally since Broner defeated Adrian Granados via split decision at Xavier University’s Cintas Center in February 2017. The 10-round bout aired on Showtime, and also featured retired two-division champion Lamont Peterson.

Check back in at BDB for updates on About Billions’ schedule that’s under construction. Talk of an early-2021 return for Broner recently surfaced, but as of yet nothing has materialized. In the interim expect the combination of the About Billions brand, and Wyatt’s local impact, to create some career-advancing opportunities for Midwest-based fighters, as well as exceptional live boxing experiences for fans in the region.
