When Round By Round Boxing‘s New York photographer, Marilyn Paulino, posted one of her recent photos featuring Adrien Broner and radio personality Charlamagne Tha God, we all thought it was cool that Broner reposted it (and didn’t rub off the watermark!).
But, little did any of us know that Broner’s repost would then start a massive back-and-forth battle with New York rapper, Tekashi69.
Tekashi69 simply commented “Clown” on Broner’s Instagram post, prompting Broner to respond with a heated video.
“Ey 6ix9ine, don’t be commenting no f*ck sh*t under my pictures, boy. Talkin’ bout clown, n**ga … I’m about to pull up on you, n**ga,” said an animated Broner.
It didn’t take long before 6ix9ine responded with his own video, telling Broner he’d bet $300K this weekend that the Cincinnati native will lose.
We highly doubt 6ix9ine knows that Jessie Vargas is Broner’s opponent, but those are apparently irrelevant details to the “Gucci” rapper.
Broner headlines a Showtime Championship Boxing tripleheader Saturday night at Barclays Center against Vargas.
