Aujee “Quick” Tyler Signs with ProBox

Former Temple Hills, MD amateur standout Aujee “Quick” Tyler has taken the first steps towards capitalizing on his natural ability, signing a deal with ProBox Management.

A few months back I stopped by Old School Boxing Gym to speak with Dusty Hernandez-Harrison and his father/trainer, Buddy Harrison. We spoke about Dusty’s future and a fight that he had coming up with Roc Nation Sports, but I was also introduced to a kid referred to only as “Quick.”

We spoke about his background–both in and out of the ring–as well as his amateur pedigree which includes victories over Gervonta Davis, Emilio Sanchez, Stephen Fulton, Ernest Delgadillo and Mykal Fox.

Hernandez-Harrison was eager to have Quick tell me his story and talk about his goals in boxing. Quick was confident in telling the cameras about his plans for the future, which include being better than Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Well, just yesterday we received the good news that Aujee Tyler–or Quick as most people know him–has signed a deal with ProBox Management. Having had more than a few run ins with the law, this marks a positive step in the professional development of the 19-year-old Tyler who will hopefully capitalize on this opportunity and develop his ability in the coming years.

Tyler has been down in Florida–where he will be relocating–helping WBA champion Juan Carlos Payano prepare for his title defense against undefeated Al Haymon prospect, Rau’shee Warren.

Aujee “Quick” Tyler looks to turn pro in early July. Stay tuned to Round By Round Boxing for more information on Tyler.
