In the inaugural telecast of PBC on FS1, which is being called Toe-To-Toe Tuesdays, Austin Trout (30-2, 17 KOs) scored a sixth-round knockout victory over Joey Hernandez (24-4-1, 14 KOs) at the Palladium in Hollywood, California.

The scheduled 10-rounder started as a fight of this magnitude should, with Trout, a returning veteran of 29, outclassing an overmatched Hernandez with a southpaw jab and superior boxing skills.

Hernandez, a 30-year-old native of Miami, Florida, could do nothing from the start–a fact he became aware of very early.

Indeed, out of sheer frustration, Hernandez threw Trout onto the canvas, for which he was deducted a point in Round 4.

Trout, however, responded by picking up his offense and landing punishing blows to the body.

The native of Las Cruces, New Mexico eventually stopped Hernandez with a barrage of shots to the body in Round 6, which knocked Hernandez down and out.

Trout seems to be back on track at 154 pounds, and even called out a much newer face in the division, Julian Williams.

A fight between the two is a possibility, but Williams will have to get through Luciano Cuello on the September 22 edition of PBC on FS1.
