Of course, Mexican fans favored Canelo and most of them put their money on him, but unfortunately, they lost. Some reports showed that 90% of the bets received at online betting sites in Mexico favored Canelo. Today, Canelo is a real champion and dominates his division, but has faced some problems with IBF recently, leaving many professionals to stir up controversy over the problem.

Mayweather won the fight in the 11th round and retired with a perfect 50-0 score. For the betting fans, the fight was a thing of beauty, as they flooded the betting sites to place their wagers.

There are still a lot of rumors involving a rematch, but Mayweather is not keen on it. He even trash-talked Pacquiao after the fight vs. Thurman and we are yet to see if a rematch will ever take place.
