Brandon Figueroa Blasts Flores in 3 Rounds

Premier Boxing Champions

Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (18-0, 13 KOs) fought for the third time in five months on the undercard of the Jose Uzcátegui vs. Caleb Plant title fight on Premier Boxing Champions on FS1.

He took on Moises “Chucky” Flores (25-2, 17 KOs) in a title eliminator bout.

Flores, coming off a tough UD loss to WBA Super Bantamweight champion Daniel Roman, was looking to bounce back from his defeat and earn a rematch against Roman.

As the first bell rung, Figueroa came out of the gates firing, keeping up a quick and intense pace, landing on Flores seemingly at will.

The Texan fighter continued finding constant success with power shots to both the head and body, when he landed a massive left hook that dropped Flores.

Flores was able to rise momentarily, but was dropped again under a barrage of punches from Figueroa and the fight was stopped.

After the emphatic knockout, it seems that Figueroa will have his eye on Daniel Roman in a WBA title fight.
