After his 10th-round stoppage win against Dierry Jean to defend his WBO 140-title at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, Terence Crawford (27-0, 19 KOs) was asked about his chance to finally fight on pay-per-view.
The word through the grapevine was that Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) would be retiring in April of 2016, and that Crawford’s fight against Jean was his chance to show that he was a worthy opponent.
After dominating a capable opponent, HBO’s Max Kellerman had to ask Crawford about Pacquiao.
Crawford, after convincingly beating worthy opponents at 135 and 140, responded confidently.
“I’m ready. Bob, make it happen,” said Crawford, referring to Top Rank‘s Bob Arum.
“You just got to watch and see,” said Crawford when asked about how he would do.

There are still a lot of things to be figured out, but Crawford joins the likes of Amir Khan as possible opponents for Pacquiao’s return.
