It was a great night of boxing in Phoenix, AZ, as Iron Boy Promotions had their 20th fight night in front of a nearly sold out crowd. The fight card was filled with 10 fights and held at the Celebrity Theatre.

In the main event, David Benavidez knocked out Rollin Williams in the first round. They both came out hard at each other once the first bell rang, yet it was very evident that the younger Benavidez was way too much for Williams.

After hitting Williams with a hard four punch combo that froze him in his tracks, Benavidez never took his foot off the gas pedal.

It was clear Williams was out on his feet while his corner had to dive in the ring to save him from falling over the ropes. Benavidez improved his record to 8-0 with 7 knockouts, while Williams dropped to 23-21-2, 8 KOs overall.

In the co-main event, Joey Ruelas made his return after a string of injuries and late fight no-shows from his opponents. Ruelas was finally able to get into the ring and deliver a great and crowd-pleasing knockout performance against Raheem Gordon of Kileen, TX.

Ruelas, who had a lot to prove since his knockout loss to Izaac Cordona last July, came out strong. Late in the first, he caught Gordon with a straight right in the corner and would not let up. Ruelas continued to throw hard to the body and land flush to the face until Gordon succumbed to the relentless attack and could not beat the count.

Ruelas improved to 9-1 with 4 knockouts.

Also fighting on the card was Daron Williams from Washington DC. Williams obliterated his opponent Christian Juneau who did not come out of his corner after the first round.

Alexis Zazueta won much to the dismay of the fans, as many believed Saul Hernandez beat him after dropping him in the third round of their four-round fight.

Also on the card, Carlos Castro defeated Raymond Chacon to improve his undefeated record to 8-0.

Iron Boy Promotions will be back in conjuction with Top Rank Inc., on May 15, 2015, live on TruTV.

The fights will be coming from Phoenix, AZ at the U.S. Airways Centre, which is the home of the Phoenix Suns. You will not want to miss this fight night. Visit ww.IronBoyPromotions.com for more details.
