Farmer, a 25-year-old native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a more promising prospect than his record suggests, and his performance against a tough veteran in Prescott proved just that.

Farmer confidently boxed Prescott from his southpaw stance, leading to a knockdown in Rounds 4 and 6. The second knockdown, however, was evened out on the scorecards as Farmer was deducted a point for hitting Prescott when he was down.

The punch barely landed, but he was nevertheless deducted the point.

Farmer would score another knockdown in Round 8, leading to the stoppage of the 28-year-old Colombian.
