The fight took place at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and aired on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

In the co-main event, Eddie Gomez knocked out DeAndre Gibson in the second round of a Welterweight clash.

Ryan Garcia vs. Fernando Vargas

In the main event, Ryan Garcia (14-0, 13 KOs) retained his junior NABF super featherweight title with a first-round knockout of Fernando Vargas (33-16-3, 24 KOs).  Garcia dropped Vargas with a left hook.

Eddie Gomez vs. Keandre Gibson

In the TV co-main event, Eddie Gomez (21-3, 11 KOs) beat KeAndre Gibson (18-2-1, 7 KOs) by knockout in the second round. Official time: 54 seconds.

Joet Gonzalez vs. Rolando Magbanua

In a 10-round featherweight bout, Joet Gonzalez (19-0, 11 KOs) defeated Rolando Magbanua (26-6, 18 KOs) by knockout in the fifth round. Gonzalez sent Magbanua to the canvas with a flurry of punches.

“He [Magbanua] came out strong with power shots. He tried to get me to open up and exchange. But I stuck to the game plan and kept boxing. Eventually I wore him down and dropped him with an uppercut and a hook. He was a little wobbly after he got back up, so the referee stopped the fight.”

Eugene Lagos vs. Emilio Sanchez

Eugene Lagos (13-5-2, 8 KOs)  scores the upset win with a brutal knockout of Emilio Sanchez (16-1, 11 KOs) in the second round of the opening bout. Sanchez, who suffered the first loss of his career, was knocked out cold and laid on the canvas for several minutes.

Raul Curiel vs. Quantavious Green

Super welterweight Raul Curiel improved to 3-0 with a second-round knockout of Quantavious Green (1-2, 1 KOs). Curiel dropped Green twice in round 2, both with vicious body shots.

Aaron McKenna vs. Jose Palacious

In his second career fight, Aaron McKenna (2-0)  made easy work of Jose Palacios (1-2, 1 KOs) with a first-round knockout. McKenna dropped Palacios with a straight right hand.
