It ended in a flash, and once again, Terence “Bud” Crawford let his fists do the talking. Crawford successfully defended his WBO Welterweight championship with a fourth-round TKO over former IBF Welterweight world champion Kell Brook.
Like many fighters around the world, Devin Haney was impressed with Crawford’s victory which took place from “The Bubble” in Las Vegas.

Haney was one of many people who applauded Crawford for his TKO win.
For as much hype and praise that Vasiliy Lomachenko gets for “downloading” a fighter’s tendencies and style after a few rounds, Crawford rarely gets props for his ring IQ and the ability to activate multiple game plans during a fight.
Plan A not working? No problem, Crawford’s got a Plan B, C, D, E and F in the bag for good measure. He’s the most gifted switch hitter in the game and at least in this writers opinion he’s THE man at 147 pounds (no disrespect to unified champion, Errol Spence, who is a close second).
With the fourth-round TKO victory over Brook, Crawford has now won eight straight fights by knockout dating back to July 2016. He’s shown that he can box, bang and do it all from either stance.
Crawford was showered with praise by fellow Top Rank fighters including Michael Conlan, Josh Taylor and Miguel Berchelt, as well as Claressa Shields, Regis Prograis and Shawn Porter.
