On October 10, 2015, Gabriel Bracero (23-2, 4 KOs) brutally knocked out Danny O’Connor (26-3, 10 KOs) in one round at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The scheduled 10-rounder was a rematch of their 2011, which ended with Bracero winning a unanimous decision victory.

This time, however, the Brooklyn, New York native would counter a lazily-thrown left hand with a perfectly-timed overhand right that flattened O’Connor out immediately.

After a few minutes during which Bracer was clearly concerned, O’Connor got back to his feet and was okay. The knockout, however, will definitely change the trajectory of his career and will be very difficult to overcome.

In the co-main event Super Bantamweight prospect Jonathan Guzman (20-0, 20 KOs) scored a ninth-round knockout victory over Danny Aquino (17-3, 10 KOs).

After being dropped twice in Round 2, Aquino spent the rest of the fight trying to survive.

Guzman, however, was too strong and skillfully, and eventually finished the fight in Round 9.

In the first televised fight, Ryan Kielczewski (24-1, 7 KOs) scored a 10-round unanimous decision victory against Rafael Vasquez (16-2, 13 KOs)

Kielczewski won with scores of 96-94, 97-93, and 97-93.
