On Saturday, December 17, 2016, Hassan N’Dam (35-2, 21 KOs) took on undefeated Caracas, Venezuela native, Alfonso Blanco (12-1, 5 KOs) for the interim WBA World Middleweight title.

N’Dam, who is not known as a big puncher, wasted little time ending things as he blasted Blanco in the first round, leaving him face flat on the mat.

The fight, which took place in Stade de l’Est, Saint-Denis, Réunion, gave N’Dam is fourth straight victory since losing a decision to David Lemieux for the vacant IBF title in June of 2015.

N’Dam also tried his hand at Olympic boxing earlier this year but took a loss in the opening round in Rio.

The incredible knockout is certainly a late-year addition that should be considered for Knockout of the Year.
