A cut over the left eye of David Haye has forced him to postpone his highly anticipated bout with Tyson Fury, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Many fans have expressed their disappointment and frustration because of the postponement, but the cut did require stitches and looks serious enough to postpone the fight.

Haye had the following to say on his official website:
Gutted isn’t even the word. Mentally, I’m on the floor at the moment. I’m devastated most of all for my loyal fans, my family and my team, as well as Tyson Fury and his team.
