Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (25-0, 13 KOs) scored a 10-round unanimous decision over Tommy Rainone (22-6-1, 4 KOs) to win the WBC Continental Americas Welterweight at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City.

On Friday, January 9, 2015, Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (25-0, 13 KOs) scored a 10-round unanimous-decision victory over Tommy Rainone (22-6-1, 4 KOs) to win the WBC Continental Americas Welterweight at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City.

The fight was the main event of Roc Nation Sports’ inaugural boxing card and was televised on Fox Sports 1 in the U.S.

Hernandez-Harrison, a 20-year-old prospect of Washington DC, lead with right hands and shots to the body despite a huge reach and height advantage.

Instead of jabbing and using his distance to keep the shorter fighter, Rainone, Hernandez-Harrison took his time to land powerful shots.

Rainone, a 35-year-old veteran of New York, simple did not have the tools to win in front of his own crowd.

Rainone brought quick jab and footwork, but was often countered with hard shots as he boxed with his hands down.

Roc Nation sports ended its first foray into the boxing world and, after signing Andre Ward, will look to make big moves in the future.
