Round By Round Boxing‘s Gabe Polanco recently caught up with all-time great, James “Lights Out” Toney (76-9-3, 46 KOs) and discussed, among other things, the state of the Heavyweight division.

Toney still considers himself the best Heavyweight out there and is not impressed with most of the competition.

Although Toney says he’s never seen up-and-coming big man Bryant Jennings fight, he knows that Philadelphia bread fighters are tough and that Jennings should be no different.

Toney had some strong opinions regarding this weekends Heavyweight matchup between Malik Scott and knockout artist, Deontay Wilder.

“Malik is my boy, he’s gonna stop Wilder. Not only is he going to beat him, he’s gonna knock him out.”
