LOGAN McGUINNESS MAKES DYNAMIC RETURN TO THE RING, WITH UNANIMOUS DECISION WIN OVER LUIS ARMANDO JUAREZ AT THE HERSHEY CENTRE IN ONTARIO, CANADA, IMPROVES TO (21-0-1 9KOs)

Ontario – Saturday night, March 28th at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario Undefeated Logan McGuinness (21-0-1 9KOs) made a dynamic return to the ring after an 18 month layoff. After a feeling out 1st round, Logan was quick to shake whatever ring rust there was as he started to take control in the 2nd round.

Logan began to get the better of every exchange against his opponent Luis Armando Juarez, who started to excessively hold, just to keep Logan off of him. In the 5th round with Logan well in control, the ref deducted a point from Juarez due to the excessive holding. McGuinness spent the rest of the fight pressing the action, as he hammered Juarez to the body. Conversely Juarez spent the rest of the evening holding Logan, just trying to avoid a KO.

In the end it was an easy unanimous decision for Logan with all three judges scoring it 79-72. With the win Logan moved to 21-0-1 with 9KO’s and surely has set himself up for some big fights in the Jr. Lightweight division, where he was ranked in the top 10 before his recent inactivity.

Logan was excited to be back in the ring for the 1st time in 18 months. “We got the result we wanted and the rounds I needed after not fighting in 18 months. Juarez made it an ugly fight with all the holding and running, but all in all it was a good 8 rounds in the bank. It’s onward and upward from here”, said Logan.
