Tyson Fury has officially wrapped up training camp as he prepares to rematch Oleksandr Usyk on December 21.
‘The Gypsy King’ fell short in his first showdown with Usyk back in May, losing a close split decision at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. It was Fury who started the fight the better of the two, but then seemed to lose control in the later rounds, allowing Usyk to finish strongly and get the nod on the judges cards.
Fury’s fight preparations have now ended & he has now arrived in Riyadh ahead of the contest. A keen observer of Fury is ex-opponent Derek Chisora, who has faced ‘The Gypsy King’ three times in the last 13 years.
‘War’ Chisora spoke to Seconds Out and made his feelings clear about an issue within Fury’s training camp.
“Do I believe Tyson Fury can beat Oleksandr? I look at everyone he’s got in his sparring camp. I personally don’t believe that the sparring partners he’s got right now are pushing him to be a menace.
They are in awe of Tyson. They will pull their punches when they’re sparring. This is what I’m seeing from the things I see on Instagram.”
Chisora then touched on what he has seen from Oleksandr Usyk’s training camp and the difference between the two.
“What I see what Oleksandr is doing is totally different. Oleksandr’s way is more like start fast and finish fast. He knows he can hurt him now, so he’s gonna try and come to hurt him!”
The outcome of Chisora’s insight will be revealed next Saturday when Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk do battle for the second time.
