On April 26, 2014, Fernando Guerrero held a special toy giveaway at the Westside Boxing Club in Los Angeles, California.
Guerrero, who fights David Lemieux on the undercard of the Light Heavyweight title-fight between Adonis Stevenson and Andrzej Fonfara, is busily preparing for his upcoming fight.
Nevertheless, as he did earlier this year in Salisbury, Maryland, Guerrero found the time to organize another giveaway.
Guerrero teamed up with YES Productions, the Westside Boxing Club, and A Foundation For Kids to organize the event. They decided that a toy giveaway would be a great way to give back to a community that Guerrero has recently joined.

It’s only been a year since Guerrero switched teams and moved his training camps to Mid-City, the inner-city neighborhood located in the middle of Los Angeles. However, it didn’t stop him from having a successful giveaway.
For the event, Guerrero was joined by his trainers, Jose and Nacho Saucedo, and by the many members of the gym. Numerous children stopped by to pick up toys from various Leapfrog and Nerf varieties.
“This is what I truly enjoy doing,” said, “giving back to the community, being a champion in and out of the ring.”
