Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are just over one week away from their highly anticipated rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The heavyweight duo met for the first time in May of this year, putting their titles on the line in the first undisputed heavyweight championship contest of the four belt era.

In an all-action contest which could have gone either way, it was Usyk who prevailed as he handed Tyson Fury his first career defeat. A late flurry from the Ukrainian proved to be the difference on the judges scorecards.

Former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis spoke to Droeks on Boxing and gave his prediction on the upcoming rematch and says ‘he can’t go against’ the Ukrainian.

“I cannot go against Usyk! Oleksandr Usyk has proven himself time and time again, and he is still undefeated. So, it really comes down to who boxes the best & who’s smart in the ring.

I didn’t think Tyson Fury was that smart in the first fight. I think he played around a little bit too much and allowed Oleksandr Usyk to really pile up the points. Oleksandr Usyk is a difficult opponent, he moves all the time, he’s always throwing punches and is in great shape, and that’s hard to beat!

Lewis believes that Tyson Fury must make use of his size and strength advantages if he has any chance on being victorious the second time around:

“I’ve always said the bigger man always should win if they do the right thing. So Tyson Fury has to do the right things in this fight to win, and that’s use his jab, use his size, use his movement.”

Usyk vs. Fury 2 will take place on Saturday December 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
