Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are set to clash for the undisputed heavyweight championship this summer.

It will be the second time that the heavyweight stars have locked horns after they faced each other in a controversial bout back in August 2023.

Dubois floored Usyk with what appeared to be a body shot in the fifth round, although it was later ruled as a low blow. The Ukrainian superstar went on to stop the Brit just four rounds later to retain his WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight titles.

After suffering the second defeat of his career to Usyk, Dubois has bounced back with several impressive wins including an explosive fifth round knockout victory over Anthony Joshua, in what was the first defence of his IBF heavyweight title. The 27-year-old from London was declared the IBF champion after Usyk was forced to vacate the title shortly after he defeated Tyson Fury last May.

In an interview with BoxNation, British-Canadian heavyweight great Lennox Lewis was asked how he believes Dubois would perform in a rematch against Usyk.

“I think he fares well. He’s pretty positive right now and his next goal is he wants to be undisputed champ.”

After weeks of speculation, an a fresh report has confirmed Usyk and Dubois will face each other on July 19th at Wembley Stadium in London, England. It will be Dubois’s second consecutive appearance at Wembley, after he shocked the world to dispatch of domestic rival Anthony Joshua back in September.
