On March 25, 2017, Jorge “El Nino de Oro” Linares (41-3, 27 KOs) will defend his WBA Lightweight title in a rematch with Anthony “Million Dollar” Crolla (31-5-3, 13 KOs) at the Manchester Arena.
The bout will be televised on Sky Sports and Showtime in the United States and is being ppromoted by Matchroom Boxing in association with Golden Boy Promotions.
Crolla suffered a heartbreaking defeat at home to a strong Linares in their last bout, and he aims to re-establish his credit this Saturday.
Keep reading to find out how Anthony Crolla can come back from his defeat and retake his belt from Jorge Linares.
1. Keep it a Boxing Match

Anthony Crolla has proven many times before that he has power, but even he must admit his power cannot rise to that of Jorge Linares.
Linares has power in every single punch he throws and is has showed us he can piece them all together and destroy his opponent.
In order to even have a chance in this rematch, Crolla cannot make this fight a brawl. He must remain calm and composed and box his way out of Linares’ traps.
2. Stay Outside

This goes hand in hand with the previous point of keeping it a boxing match. Jorge Linares is a monster when it comes to inside punching and will hurt his opponent, even from a hold.
The reason he is able to do this is because, when he starts to land inside, he immediately gets comfortable and turns the match into a brawl.
If Anthony Crolla wants a better chance at victory in this fight, he must remain outside and refuse to let Linares get comfortable.
Watch the Lead Hand

Jorges Linares is a talented fighter and a worthy champion, but everyone has their flaws. The Venezuelan Lightweight shows his flaws through his lead hand.
Whenever he begins throwing heavier punches, almost like clockwork, he will drop his lead hand. It was the cause of one of his previous losses, and it could prove to be the deciding factor again against Anthony Crolla on Saturday night.
Crolla should not, at any point, abandon his boxing strategy, but he could use this to consistently land his bombs here and there throughout the night, making Linares more cautious and possibly knocking him down.
If Crolla follows all of these keys, he will have a far better chance at regaining his title from “The Golden Boy” Linares.
