Showtime Sports Executive, Stephen Espinoza, has made it clear–via Twitter–that any reports of official pay-per-view numbers at this point are premature.

Rick Glaser got the interwebs talking when he reported that “The Moment” buys came in at 854,000.
Today I tweeted Floyd-Maidana PPV buys are 854,000. Showtime’s Spin King Stephen Espinoza tweeted “no numbers yet” I standby mine. #boxing

Even after a bevy of people attacked him, Glaser stuck by his numbers, even calling Espinoza the “spin king.”
It remains to be seen when Espinoza and Showtime will release their official numbers.
