Mike Tyson Names The Only Heavyweight Even He Couldn’t Beat In His Prime: “He’s An Animal”

Mike Tyson is one of the most ferocious heavyweights in the long history of boxing.

He reigned as the undisputed heavyweight champion between 1987 and 1990, holding the record as the youngest world heavyweight champion in history after defeating Trevor Berbick aged just 20-years-old.

Tyson held an exceptional knockout record as a professional, stopping 44 opponents through 50 wins in a career that spanned 20 years. He is often dubbed as one of the most feared boxers of all time, with a style that caused nightmares for most of the opponents he shared the ring with.

‘Iron’ Mike holds wins against an abundance of top heavyweight fighters, including Larry Holmes, Frank Bruno and Michael Spinks.

He also fought fellow heavyweight icon Evander Holyfield, falling short on both occasions with their rematch being remembered for the famous ear bite that Tyson inflicted on ‘The Real Deal’ in the third round.

Despite being such a formidable opponent for many of the fighters he was matched up with, the-58-year-old tole ThisIs50 the one man who he felt would have beaten him in his prime, which was none other than Muhammad Ali.

“There is no man like him, there just isn’t. Everything we have he supersedes us in. He was an animal, he looked more like a model than a boxer, he’s like a Tyrannosaurus Rex with a pretty face, he’s mean, he’ll take you to deep waters and drown you. He’s very special. The best. Nobody beats Ali. I can’t beat the man, hell no.”

Tyson made a sensational yet controversial return to boxing in November when he went eight rounds with YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul. The spectacle took place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, with ‘The Problem Child’ getting the better of the heavyweight legend.

‘Iron’ Mike is now expected to go back into retirement following the defeat to Paul.
