WHAT: The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation will donate state of the art Everlast
Boxing Equipment to local gyms in Los Angeles and their after school
boxing programs on Thurs., November 14. Join Former WBC Super
Bantamweight World Champion Israel “Magnifico” Vazquez as he accepts
the boxing equipment on behalf of Magnifico Boxing Gym and the other
local gyms in the East Los Angeles community.

FACTS: In 1995, the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation was created to bring a better
quality of life to the people of East Los Angeles. Today, with the help of so
many, the foundation serves thousands of people annually. The Oscar De La
Hoya Foundation supports the Oscar De La Hoya Animo Charter High
School, the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center and the Oscar De
La Hoya Labor and Delivery Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

numerous after-school programs that help guide young people toward
leading positive lives and away from the circumstances of gang violence,
