On Friday, June 30, 2017, Jose “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, the cousin of pound-for-pound Nicaraguan legend, Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, took on Guadalupe Arroyo in a scheduled six-round bout at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Gonzalez won a split decision over Arroyo to improve to 8-0-1, 2 KOs.
