Mike Tyson Names The Current Fighter ‘Nobody Has A Chance Of Beating’: “I’d Be Scared To Face Him”

Mike Tyson is often depicted as the most feared fighter in the history of boxing.

With his explosive style and knockout power, ‘Iron Mike’ was a nightmare for most of the opponents he faced in his twenty year career, which began in 1985 when he was just 18-years old.

He became the youngest world heavyweight champion of all time at just 20-years-old in November 1986, when Tyson knocked out Trevor Berbick in the second round of their battle Las Vegas.

In a controversial return to the sport, the New York born power puncher faced YouTube star turned professional fighter Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15, in what went on to be a very difficult watch for most viewers.

It has also been speculated that the fight was scripted with a number of fans claiming both fighters had held back on throwing heavy punches during the bout.

Despite his reputation as a fearless competitor during his time in the sport, Tyson spoke to ESNEWS where he branded WBC interim light heavyweight champion David Benavidez as one man he would avoid facing at all costs.

“He’s so underrated but so over-polarised here. Listen, I’d be afraid to fight him too if I was in that division. No one even has a chance against him, and I’m talking facts.”

‘The Monster’ returns to the ring in February when he challenges undefeated WBA regular light heavyweight title holder David Morrell in one of the most intriguing contests in the current boxing schedule.
