Everlast, leaders in manufacturing boxing gear, have released an inspiring ad featuring a young boxer.
The ad stars Makayla Maxwell, who tells of her dream to compete in a world where it doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl.
The ad is directed by Claire Edmondson and also features two adult boxers.
According to AdWeek.com, Edmondson says that she hopes the ad will help inspire and empower young girls.
Edmonson also told AdWeek that part of the inspiration for the spot came from being labeled a ‘female director.’
