Jake Paul has been met with a long list of potential opponents after defeating heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in November.

The 27-year-old YouTube star turned professional fighter has had 12 professional contests since his debut five years ago, suffering just one loss which came at the hands of Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Paul secured a fight with ‘Iron’ Mike which was originally due to take place last July, but after the former world heavyweight champion suffered an injury in the lead up it was re-scheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. It would be Tyson’s first professional outing in just under 19 years, after walking away from the sport following a knockout defeat to Kevin McBride.

The 8-round contest between ‘The Problem Child’ and Tyson went the distance, with the 27-year-old setting a fast pace from the opening bell which ‘Iron’ Mike struggled to keep up with. The 58-year-old was visibly exhausted at the conclusion of the fight, but did not suffer any permanent damage much to the delight of fans and pundits around the world.

Speaking to Covers, boxing legend and former four-weight world champion Roy Jones Jr has agreed to fight the YouTuber, but only if he gets paid $20m.

“I was the last person to fight Mike, so why would I take anything less than $20 million? Don’t waste my time.”

Jones Jr faced Tyson in an exhibition contest back in 2020, which ended without a winner being declared. He returned to professional boxing in 2023 when he lost a close decision to MMA star Anthony Pettis.

‘The Problem Child’ is expected to return to the ring this year, with a fight date and an opponent yet to be confirmed.
