Dan Rafael of ESPN–via Twitter–is reporting that the WBO Welterweight Champion, Manny Pacquiao, has resigned with Bob Arum and Top Rank Promotions through 2016.

Many people feel this effectively ends any hopes of Pacquiao squaring off against pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr. because of his disdain for Arum.
It looks like the next fight to be made will be a fifth one between Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank, is pleased to announce that Top Rank has signed an agreement with Manny Pacquiao and MP Promotions extending their promotional agreement through December 31, 2016.
