Unbeaten prospect Eddie Ramirez continues on his path towards a world title shot on Tuesday, June 20 when he takes on Erick Bone in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and BOXEO DE CAMPEONES on FOX Deportes from Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas.

Televised coverage begins at 9:00 pm, EST/6:00 pm, PST and features a 10-round matchup between Junior Welterweight prospect Dennis Galarza and Mexico’s Omar Tienda.

Also, in an eight-round battle, unbeaten Featherweight prospects Xavier Martinez and Prince Smalls square off.

In non-televised action, Mayweather Promotions prospect Josue “The Prodigy” Vargas will also be in action.

LIVE BOXING RESULTS

Eddie Ramirez vs. Erick Bone

Eddie Ramirez and Erick Bone both looked impressive in the first three rounds– exchanging and both landing clean and powerful shots. In Round 4, Bone worked the ring as Ramirez continued coming forward with pressure.

Through the sixth round it was a very close bout– with the rounds extremely hard to score. Ramirez looked to be slightly outworking Bone as the rounds winded down. At the end of Round 7, Ramirez landed a mean right hand that looked as if it would stop Bone but he kept coming forward.

Ramirez started to hunt Bone down in the final rounds but Bone never looked discouraged as he tried to work the ring and avoid punishment. In the tenth and final round, Ramirez looked as if he was looking for the knockout with constant pressure on Bone. Bone’s defensive game kept this bout competitive through the ten rounds.

The fight went to the scorecards, the bout was scored 97-93 Bone, 97-93 Ramirez, 97-93 Ramirez. This was an extremely close bout with both men leaving it all in the ring but Ramirez was given the edge. Eddie Ramirez is still undefeated with a record of 17-0, 11 KOs.

Xavier Martinez vs. Prince Smalls

The beginning rounds of the Xavier Martinez vs. Prince Smalls bout were very much back and forth. In Round 3, Martinez showed off his power– momentarily hurting Smalls. Smalls didn’t hesitate in coming back with his own attack.

Though Smalls had an obvious reach advantage, Martinez did a great job fighting on the inside preventing him from using it. In Round 7, Martinez continued to time Smalls coming in and landed the more devastating shots. Somehow, Smalls was able to hold on after taking some brutal blows throughout the seventh round.

This was easily the best and most competitive bout of the night thus far. With the fight going to the scorecards, all the three judges scored the bout 80-71 in favor of Xavier Martinez. Martinez improves his records to 8-0, 4 KOs in impressive fashion.

Dennis Galarza vs. Omar Tienda

Dennis Galarza and Omar Tienda both came out strong in the first three rounds– going toe-to-toe in the center of the ring. In the fourth round, Galarza began landing the more damaging shots but Tienda just kept coming forward.

Both men were fatigued after the seventh round and the fight got drastically more sloppy. This fight got dirty as it wore on with low blows and excessive smotherly– Tienda got a point taken away in the ninth round.

This fight went all 10 rounds, with the three judges scoring the bout 98-91, 99-90, 100-89 all in favor of Dennis Galarza. The crowd disagreed with this decision but with this win, Galarza improves his record to 16-2, 9 KOs.

Lanell Bellows vs. Mike Snider

Lanell Bellows and Mike Snider came out swinging in the first round, both landing but nothing substantial. As Lanell Bellows and Mike Snider were in the middle of an exchange, Mike Snider landed a left hook knocking out Lanell Bellows. The fight ended at 2:30 of Round 3– Mike Snider upsetting the Las Vegas Local and improving his record to 13-4-3, 7 KOs.

Josue Vargas vs. Andrew Rodgers

The Money Team‘s, Josue “The Prodigy” Vargas is back. Andrew Rodgers came out of his corner aggressive in the first round– trying to wrestle Vargas. Vargas was able to establish his jab in the later rounds which, allowed him to control the pace of the fight after Round 4. One point was taken away from Vargas for low blows in Round 6. Though Rodgers continued to try to wrestle with Vargas throughout the entirety of the fight, Vargas adapted well and was able to land several punishing counter punches.

Vargas scored a unanimous decision victory and improved his record to 8-1, 4 KOs.

Cameron Kreal vs. Genaro Mendez

Cameron Krael (11-12-2, 3 KOs) from Las Vegas, Nevada stops Genaro Mendez from Michoacan, Mexico (11-4-1, 6 KOs) at 2:13 of the fourth round after dominating the first third rounds.
