On Friday, September 26, 2014, Iron Mike Productions held a fight card live from Mesquite, Texas, featuring Anselmo Moreno vs. Juan Carlos Payano.
The fight card also featured up-and-coming Jr. Middleweight, Charles “The Future” Hatley.
In the main event, after suffering a cut from an accidental head butt in Round 2, Payano scored a sixth-round technical decision victory over Moreno to be crowned the new WBA champion.
Hatley was victorious via 10-round unanimous decision.
