Malignaggi Willing to Fight Judah

Ring TV’s Lem Satterfield reports that Paulie Malignaggi is interested in Richard Schaefer’s plan to get a Judah-Malignaggi fight to go down at the Barclay’s Center on December 7. Malignaggi did make it clear that the money has to be right for him to face Judah. “You know, everything has it’s price. I’m not looking to fight unless it’s totally worth it for me to bust my ass and to go to training camp.” The fight could be part of a massive triple header including Amir Khan vs. Devon Alexander and Victor Ortiz versus an unnamed opponent.

Mosley-Mundine Not All Done

We reported earlier this week that Shane Mosley will face Anthony Mundine in Australia later this year. But, Mosley spoke with Ring TV during Canelo Alvarez‘s open workout and stated that not only is there a problem with money being sent into escrow, but also, he really doesn’t want to fight at 154 anyway.

Mares Taking the Rest of 2013 Off

After suffering a tough, first-round KO loss at the hands of Jhonny Gonzalez, Abner Mares announced that he will take the rest of 2013 off. He also stated that he is willing to face Jhonny Gonzalez in a rematch or Leo Santa Cruz. It remains to be seen how quickly Golden Boy brings Mares back to a championship level fight.
