Gonzalez scored a knockdown in Round 3, continued dominating through the fight, and eventually stopped Viloria with a flurry.

Luis Ortiz vs. Matias Ariel Vidondo, 12 rounds, for vacant WBA interim heavyweight title

Ortiz knocked out Vidondo in Round 3. After a slow first round, Ortiz began landing combination punches in Round 2. Ortiz landed a powerful combination in Round 2 that dropped Vidondo, who barely made it out of the round.

Vidondo, who had never fought in the U.S., looked flabby and slow compared to Ortiz’s elusiveness. In Round 3, Ortiz landed another shot that quickly knocked Vidondo out.

Eamonn O’Kane vs. Tureano Johnson, 12 rounds, IBF middleweight eliminator

Johnson scored a unanimous decision victory over O’Kane.

Johnson had a good start as he scored two knockdowns in Round 1 both by a right hook.

O’Kane, however, recovered by the second round and was backing Johnson up by the end of Round 2.

The back-and-forth action continued into the fight as O’Kane landed more body shots, while Johnson landed more to the head.

O’Kane never gave up, but he didn’t posses the power nor the skill to put Johnson’s win at risk

The judges scored the fight 118-108, 117-109 and 119-107 for Johnson.

Ghislain Maduma vs. Maurice Hooker, 10 rounds, lightweights

Hooker’s reach and height allowed him to score a majority decision win against Maduma.

A solid right hand put Maduma on the canvas on Round 4, while Hooker was badly hurt later in the fight.

The fight was close, but Hooker edged out Maduma on the scorecards. Two judges scored it 95-93 for Hooker, while one scored it the same for Maduma.

Lamont Roach Jr. vs. Jose Bustos, 6 rounds, lightweights
