On Saturday, August 8, 2015, former interim WBA Super Lightweight titlist Johan Perez (22-2-1, 13 KOs) takes on Dmitry Mikhaylenko (19-0, 8 KOs) at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

The scheduled 12-round fight, which is for the NABA Welterweight title, will be televised on HBO Latino in the U.S.

Perez, lost his 140-pound title to Mauricio Herrera in 2014, but has scored a win against Humberto Gonzalez in his home country Venezuela.

The 32-year-old will look to continue his campaign at Welterweight in hopes of cracking the top-ten in the future.

Mikhaylenko, 29, is undefeated in his 19-fight campaign, and a win over a skillful veteran such as Perez could pave the way for bigger fights in the future.

In the co-main event, Yoandris Salinas (21-1-2, 14 KOs) takes on Manuel Avila (17-0, 7 KOs) for the vacant interim NABF Super Bantamweight Title in a 10-round 122-pound fight.

Opening up the telecast is Tevin Farmer (19-4-1, 4 KOs) who will fight Daulis Prescott (30-2, 22 KOs) in a Super Featherweight 10-rounder.

The HBO Latino telecast begins at 10:30 p.m. ET. Make sure to stop by periodically as we update you with results from each fight.
