On Saturday night, February 27, King’s Promotions returns to the nation’s capital in Washington, D.C with a big night of boxing at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

In the main event, Ty Barnett (22-4-1, 14 KOs) takes on former world-title challenger Daniel Attah (28-21-1, 11 KOs) in a Super Lightweight battle scheduled for 8-rounds.

Also featured on the card will be Laurel Middleweight Demond “DBestAtIt” Nicholson (15-1, 15 KOs), Mykal “The Professor” Fox (8-0, 2 KOs), as well as D.C. super lightweights Patrick “Flash” Harris (7-0, 4 KOs) “Teflon” Tony Magruder (3-0, 2 KOs).

Ty Barnett vs. Daniel Attah

Ty Barnett came forward all night, repeatedly pounding Daniel Attah to the body en-route to an eighth round stoppage at 2:46. Barnett scored three knockdowns in the fight.

Demond Nicholson vs. Jose M Valderrama Demond Nicholson improved to 16-1, 16 KOs with a first-round stoppage victory over Jose Valderrama.

Mykal Fox vs. Claudinei Lacerda

In the nights co-main event, Mykal Fox put on a dominating boxing performance against Claudieni Lacerda. Fox won by unanimous decision and improved to 9-0, 2 KOs.

Sam Crossed vs. Martez Williamson Sam “The Vanilla Gorilla” Crossed earned his second career victory, taking a four-round decision over Martez Williamson by unanimous decision.

Antonio Magruder vs. Terrell James

Antonio Magruder came out on fire, rocking Terrell James around the ring. But to James’ credit he survived the blistering pace and big shots. Magruder composed himself and earned the stoppage victory in Round 3.

Jordan Shimmell vs. Willis Lockett Jordan Shimmell defeated Willis Lockett at 1:23 of Round 4 after the referee disqualified Lockett. Patrick Harris vs. Christopher Russell Patrick Harris improved to 8-0, 5 KOs with an impressive combination of shots that dropped and stopped Christopher Russell in Round 1.

Luther Smith vs. Charlemagne Jones

Luther Smith turned the lights out on Charlemagne Jones at :47 seconds of Round 2, earning a TKO victory.

Wesley Triplett vs. Alando Pugh

In the first bout of the evening, Wesley Triplett remained undefeated with a lackluster, majority decision victory over DC’s own Alando Pugh.
