On the buyout of his contract: “I didn’t really know too much about that. They just told me things didn’t work out and my manager told me that he [did] the buyout. I’ve been good with Al Haymon, so I had no choice but to go with him. He’s been really great with me.”

On possibly fighting on an CBS or NBC card: “Yeah, I think I’ll be fighting on those cards. That’s what we wanted because there will be millions of people watching us.”

“It’s free for all the fans so it’s a great opportunity.”

On a possible fight with Abner Mares: “Yeah, of course. They were talking about that fight. I think he’s going to fight one more fight; I’m going to fight one more fight, and I think me and him are going to be the next fight, if everything goes good.”
