Unbeaten WBC Interim Middleweight Champion and Houston-native Jermall Charlo will return to his hometown to defend against Middleweight contender Brandon Adams Saturday, June 29 live on SHOWTIME from NRG Arena in Houston and presented by Premier Boxing Champions.
SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and features hard-hitting super welterweight Erickson “Hammer” Lubin taking on French contender Zakaria Attou in a 12-round WBC title elimination bout in the co-main event.
Opening the telecast is a WBA featherweight title eliminator between slick Mexican southpaw Eduardo Ramirez and power-punching Dominican Claudio Marrero.

Erickson Lubin improves 21-1, 16 KOs with a dominant stoppage victory over Zakaria Attou. The TKO came at 1:19 in Round 4.
After the bout, Lubin stated that he’d like to face a top 10 type fighter next such as Austin Trout or Terrell Gausha.
Eduardo Ramirez vs. Claudio Marrero
Claudio Marrero defeats Eduardo Ramirez in a WBA Featherweight title eliminator.
Marrero won unanimous decision with scores of 115-113, 116-112 and 118-110.

Mycheal Teal suffered his first pro defeat at the hands of Texas native Mark Beuke via majority decision. Teal falls to 3-1, while Beuke improves to 3-2.

Marsellos Wilder continues his progression after suffering a TKO loss earlier in 2019. Wilder defeated Tyler Vogel by unanimous decision to improve to 4-1.
