Tonight’s main event saw the writing of another chapter in one of boxings most heated rivalries Mexico vs Puerto Rico, as former junior middleweight champion Jaime Munguia took on the battle tested Gabe Rosado , Munguia pressed the action from the beginning imposing his size and youth behind persistent jab and combinations while Rosado looked to counter and outbox the younger man.
Munguia never took his foot off the brake and ultimately size,youth and power dominated as Munguia was simply too much for Rosado who despite not being hurt or giving in was not able to make a dent in the young warrior who rightfully claimed a victory by UD scores of 118-110,119-109,117-111.

In tonight’s co-main event, Alexis “Lex” Rocha stopped thecrafty Jeovanis Barraza of Barranquilla, Colombia, with 33 seconds left in the ninth round.

In a Welterweight bout, LA based Mexicali prospect Alejandro Pin Pon Reyes finished his opponent Osmael Mayorga halfway through the second round after catching him with a series of big right hands that sent Mayorga reeling backwards prompting the referee to end the fight and spare him any unnecessary punishment.
Jorge Chavez vs. Gilberto Aguilar
In the second bout of the evening, Jorge Chavez started his career with a bang stopping his game but overmatched opponent Gilberto Aguilar of Mexico City in the third round.
Asa Stevens vs. Felix Mendez Vasquez
In the opening bout of tonight’s card undefeated Asa Stevens scored his second victory as a pro with a first-round stoppage of debuting Felix Vasquez.
Vasquez started quickly and brought the fight but was caught by precise counter punching from Stevens who hurt and pounced on the stunned Vasquez as the referee waved an end to the bout.
