The Showtime Championship Boxing telecast begins at 9:00 pm, EST and features Super Bantamweight world champion Daniel Roman defending his belt against unbeaten Moises “Chucky’’ Flores and former world champion Javier Fortuna clashing with Adrian Granados in a 10-round 140-pound special attraction.

Daniel Roman vs. Moises Flores

Daniel Roman cruised to a unanimous decision victory over Moises “Chucky” Flores in the co-feature bout of the evening. The bout opened with both fighters landing clean shots on one another but after a dedicated body attack from Roman, Flores began to fade and show signs of fatigue. In the later rounds, Roman continued his body attack but Flores stayed in there for the entire 12. Roman eventually received the decision victory with scores of 116-112, 118-110, and 120-108.

Javier Fortuna vs. Adrian Granados

In an odd turn of events, the fight between Javier Fortuna and Adrian Granados was stopped in the fourth round due to Fortuna falling through the ropes and apparently injuring his neck. The fight was ultimately called an no decision.

Stephen Fulton vs. Jesus Ahumad

Philly fighter Stephen Fulton found himself if quite the scrap with Mexican fighter Jesus Ahumada. The pair let their hands go from virtually in every round. Ultimately, Fulton found his mark and closed the show in the 9th. Fulton improves to 13-0 with the victory.

Yordenis Ugas vs. Jonathan Batista

2008 Bronze medalist, Yordenis Ugas of Cuba, wasted no time getting  Jonathan Batista out of there in just two rounds. Ugas dropped Batista a total of 4 times on his way to a TKO finish.

Adrian Taylor vs. Chris Harris

Errol Spence’s sparring partner and Cruiserweight prospect, Adrian Taylor remained undefeated tonight in Dallas. Taylor dominated the action for all six rounds and almost closed the show early on. Taylor now improves his record to 7-0.

Alejandro Guerrero vs. David Fabela

Robert Garcia trained prospect, Alejandro Guerrero, pummeled David Fabela until the referee had seen enough and called a halt to the action. Guerrero improves his record to 8-0 with 7 KOs.

Fernando Garcia vs. Angel Carvajal

Dallas native, Fernando Garcia secured a smooth and quick first-round TKO finish over Angel Carvahal. With the win, Garcia keeps his unblemished record intact and adds another knockout to the record. His record now stands at 9-0 with 4 KOs.
